More Than a Team
The Pilots are an all-women rookie FRC team. We are also the first all-women FRC team in the San Diego region. Building this team from the ground up, most of our team members had no prior background in robotics. The team spent all of the first semester learning and practicing the basics of CAD in SolidWorks and coding in Java. Our team of 14 young women persevered throughout build season, launching into the FRC community with a mission to take home the Rookie All-Star Award and to inspire other young women with the hopes of creating a legacy of our own.

The Academy of Our Lady of Peace is an all-girl college preperatory institution that empowers young women in an innnovative learning environment. Fostering community and developing strong female leaders, the Academy has strongly supported our STEM programs and the development of our robotics team.
